BIO
Johnny Machine was born in July of 1983 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a self-taught artist whose art explores elements of the dark and macabre. His influences include horror films, rock music, and other artists including H.R. Giger, Stephen Gammill, and Russell Mills. He was awarded two Scholastic Silver Key awards and his art has been displayed in the Milwaukee Art Museum. He currently works as a freelance illustrator and is available for both commercial and private commisioned projects.

In his work he favors watercolor and ink, however his illustrations combine the use of both traditional techniques and digital methods.

His commercial design work includes illustration for Mad Hatter Design in the 2008 edition Serial Killer Calendar and series one through three of the Serial Killer Trading cards. He has also done commercial design and illustration for the german metalcore band On My Ashes.

He is a cancer and has an arguably unhealthy obsession with zombies. He aspires to become one someday.
